Recovery Worker - Criminal Justice (Ref:0061ZD)

All applicants need to submit a CV and a cover letter explaining why you should be considered for this role. The closing date for applications is the 19th August 2025. Please note that this role may close early if sufficient applications are received, so early application is advised.

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. We do not have a sponsorship license and cannot sponsor candidates to live and work in the UK. Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.

This is an integral role for With You, managing an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with those we support, and treating them with respect and dignity. We seek a compassionate, motivated individual with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. Experience in health, social care, criminal justice, or related fields, especially with substance misuse issues, is preferred but not essential. We will provide training and support to develop your skills.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to manage time effectively. Working as part of a team to ensure high-quality service is essential. A driving license is preferred, and access to a vehicle is required.

We are looking for someone passionate about our mission, with a positive and engaging approach to clients and stakeholders. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturday and late-night work on a rota basis. This is a fixed-term position until 31/03/2026, with a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Benefits include 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday or a special occasion, enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave, 2 days paid volunteer leave per year, pension scheme, Blue Light Card discounts, flexible working, and a referral bonus scheme of £500 per successful referral.

We are committed to building an inclusive culture that supports diverse voices and experiences. We encourage applications from underrepresented communities, including those with lived experience, disabilities, from racialized communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, all ages, and armed forces veterans. We offer a guaranteed interview scheme for veterans and candidates with disabilities who meet the essential criteria.

If you have a disability or medical condition that may affect your performance during the selection process, we are happy to make reasonable adjustments to support you.
