1. Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions
2. Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight prior to clinic appointments.
3. Setting up equipment to use in the session/treatment
4. Supporting consultants and nurses with various procedures including ECG, Phlebotomy, Dressings and assisting with minor ops.
5. Chaperoning patients as required.
Person Specification:
Essential
6. Have a good standard of general education.
7. Hold a care certificate
8. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
9. Hold an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care
10. Have experience working as a support worker in an acute clinical environment
