Purpose of the role / key responsibilities:
* Managing and developing a portfolio of clients as well as providing assistance and support to others within the firm
* Taking responsibility for effective communication with clients and colleagues
* Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets
* Reviewing work prepared by other staff members
* Ensuring adherence to the firm’s quality control procedures
* Ensuring professional standards are met
* Presenting work to the partner in a complete and finalized format
* Preparing draft fees in a timely manner
* Providing efficient and proactive service to clients, fully meeting their needs
* Identifying technical issues and selling opportunities to Partners
* Participating in tenders and proposals for new work
* Developing work from existing clients by working closely with Partners and staff
* Participating in marketing and business development activities
* Attending networking events and developing professional relationships
* Focusing on self-development and continuing professional education
* Consulting on technical and risk matters with colleagues and Partners
* Working as part of the management team and supervising staff within the Corporate Services Skill Group
* Supporting team work and working on own initiative
* Providing training, mentoring, and motivation to staff
Experience and skill set required for the role:
* Professional qualification (CA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
* Experience in key sectors such as Charities and Not-for-Profit organizations
* Experience managing and developing a client portfolio
* Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues
* Strong business development skills
