Laboratory Clinical Support Worker (LW), Kirkcaldy
Applications are invited for the above post based in the South Laboratory, Victoria Hospital. The laboratory is equipped with Sysmex haematology platforms, Grifols Blood Transfusion analysers, Roche pre-analytics, tracked analyser platforms, and multiple POCT devices. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a new facility with state-of-the-art equipment.
This role involves rotation through various sections within the department, including specimen reception. The post holder will be required, following suitable training, to cover the 24/7 laboratory service. Working hours are 18.5 hours per week on an early, day, and evening shift (16:15 to 20:00), including weekends when suitably trained. We seek a team-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
The department is UKAS accredited and IBMS approved for Support Staff training.
