Role
Reportingto the Head ofMarketing and Projects the Senior Program Managerwill be responsible fordelivering technology projects on time andwithin budgetary constraints.
Therole involves all aspectsof the project life cycle fromrequirements gathering to specification writingand managing changereleases.
TheSenior PM will also berequired to devise test plans and work withthe relevant business departmentsto complete useracceptancetesting.
Theindividual will beresponsible for the companys relationships withits technology partners andfor identifying suitable softwaredevelopers as per the companys businessrequirements.
Daytodaythe Senior PM willbe accountable for working successfully alongsidethe companys technologypartners to ensure smooth running of itscore business applications.
TheSenior PM will manage thecompanys source code repositories ensuringthe technology IP is completeuptodate and conforms to internalguidelines.
Thisis very much a handsonrole where the successful candidate will beinvolved in providing directtechnical expertise on projects.
CandidateProfile
The candidate will be agraduate or of graduate calibre will have atechnology background and mayalso hold a formal project managementqualification.
Technical proficiencies: .NETstack C# Python React Angular SQL
Experience in CI/CDpipelines GitHub projects GitHub EnterpriseServer Azure DevOps containertechnologies (Docker Kubernetes etc.)and API gateway
Proven track record ofmanaging and delivering projects ideallywithin the financial servicessector.
An excellent communicator whohas welldeveloped interpersonal skillssupported by strong organisationalskills.
Sound knowledge and handlingof project and program managementmethodology and techniques.
Robust understanding of thewider objectives of the programs.
Ability to work positivelywith the wide range of individualsinvolved in program management.
Strong leadership and timemanagement skills.
Good knowledge of resourceallocation.
The ability to findinnovative ways to resolve problems.
Atenacious positive outlookunderpinned with a cando attitude.
Solid commercial awarenessand business acumen to ensure credibilitywith colleagues at all levels.
Exposure to commodities andderivatives would be highly desirablealthough not essential.
Ability and skills to workremotely (i.e. if working from home).
It is highly likely that theideal candidate will have at least fiveyears experience in Program Managementto be successful in thisrole.
Locationand Hours
The position is based in ourHead Office which is currently locatedin Holborn.
Hours are 7.30 to 17.30Monday to Friday although flexibility may berequired at peak periods.
Currently hybrid working witha minimum three days in the office.This is not contractual and is reviewed ona regular basis.Opportunity may also exist for remoteworking.
Salaryand Benefits
Salary:Competitive 75K TO 85K
AnnualLeave: starting at 25days plus public holidays.
