We are working closely with inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Islington that are seeking passionate and committed English Teachers to join their teams on a supply basis.

What you’ll be doing:
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3–4
* Supporting students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills
* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
* Contributing to whole-school goals and a collaborative staff culture
You’ll need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
* Experience planning, delivering, and marking lessons at secondary level
* A sound understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
* Confident classroom management and strong communication skills
* A proactive, reflective approach and commitment to professional development
