We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Workshop Operative to join our client based in Swindon.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Be involved with production work to achieve the project quality standards and timescales
* Follow drawings for cutting and drilling details
* Experience of using a Chop Saw for timber cutting
* Experience in routering, pillar drill & general wood work machinery and hand tools
* Assembling of products
* Ensure all work is carried out to the standards and requirements of the Company's ISO9001
Quality Management System, including an attitude of continuous improvement
* Assist the Team in implementing Workshop Instructions, ensuring full understanding of the
instructions prior to the commencement of the work
1. Carry out ongoing quality control throughout all procedures
2. Follow correct Workshop and Health and Safety procedures
3. Assist in completing paperwork and their timely return to the office
4. Assist in keeping the Workshop and Yard in a tidy and safe condition in accordance with the company’s policies
