Job Description
We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant in Havant to provide essential care to clients in Havant and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with personal care, meals, and light housework
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
* Administering medication and monitoring health changes
* Keeping accurate care records and collaborating with the team
* Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary
This role is vital for ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
* Previous care assistant experience preferred, but not required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
* Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
* Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
* Valid driving licence and own vehicle
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
* Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
