Location: North Wales Salary: from £35,000 – Performance-Based Incentives. Full-Time / Part time
About Us
Greenacre Orthodontics is a leading practice in North Wales, dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and ambitious Practice Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and strategic development of our practice.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring seamless operations, leading our team, maintaining compliance, managing finances, and driving business growth. This is a leadership role where your expertise will make a real impact on both team performance and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Management
* Lead, develop, and mentor the practice team to achieve operational excellence
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management to build a strong team
* Manage staff rotas, absences, payroll, and HR functions efficiently
* Foster a positive and professional workplace culture
Compliance & Governance
* Act as the HIW Registered Manager, ensuring full regulatory compliance
* Oversee audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement in governance
* Maintain accurate policies, procedures, and staff documentation
Financial & Administrative Management
* Oversee practice budgets, banking, payroll, and supplier negotiations
* Manage private work, claims processing, and fee collection to optimise revenue
* Support financial reporting and cost-saving initiatives
Patient Experience & Practice Growth
* Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all patients
* Oversee patient feedback, referrals, and complaint resolution
* Lead marketing efforts, branding, and business development initiatives
* Complaints management
Technology & Systems Management
* Maintain and optimize practice IT systems and digital management tools
* Ensure seamless use of management software to enhance efficiency
Your Profile
We're looking for a proactive and driven leader with the following skills and experience:
* Minimum 3 years' management experience (dental/medical preferred)
* Strong leadership, HR, and team development abilities
* Knowledge of compliance, governance, and financial management
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management software
