This is a new post within the Kent Oncology Centre, based at Canterbury, providing services to patients from both East Kent. The post holder will join our team of medical and clinical oncologists to take a major interest in Breast. We have a well-established oncology research department, providing the opportunity for the post holder to run and develop clinical trials. Duties of this post will be to support the consultant service across a range of tumour types: Attending Consultant led out-patient clinics, and undertaking related admin and chemotherapy prescribing. Review of patients attending for chemotherapy and radiotherapy if required by nursing or radiography staff. Teaching of SHOs and medical students. Involvement in clinical governance and audit activities.
