Electrical Test Technician
Carbon60 are working with an industry-leading, state-of-the-art electronics manufacturer in the Coventry area who are currently looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join their test department.

This is a great opportunity to play a vital part in ensuring our client's products are functioning correctly - carrying out a variety of tests and inspections, and performing rework duties on any identified faults if and when required.
Salary: Up to £33,000 p/a
Working Hours: Mon - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm. 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and test a variety of control panels, amongst other electrical/electronic components on occasion using a variety of test equipment and instrumentation such as Voltmeters, Ammeters, and Ohmeters.
2. Work from drawings and schematics, ensuring that equipment and products are in-line with specifications and identify any abnormalities/faults.
3. Identify loose/faulty connections and rectify using hand tools and soldering techniques if and when required.
4. Test wiring circuits to locate and isolate faults and root cause of malfunctions.
5. Maintain up to date records of faults and malfunctions.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
1. Experienced in carrying out electrical testing and required instrumentation such as Voltmeters, Ammeters, and Ohmeters.
2. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and wiring schematics.
3. Understanding of electromechanical processes.
4. Knowledge of 3-phase electrics.
