Availability
Days: Sun, Fri, Sat with the following time windows:
Sun 09:00:00 – 18:00:00
Fri 16:00:00 – 22:00:00
Sat 11:00:00 – 20:00:00
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We support flexibility, so if your available times are close but not exact, we’d still love to hear from you.
Pay and hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. Our policy is to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; options to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) are also available.

* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
* Putting training into practice to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines that meet customer needs.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and the part you play in driving service, sales, and profitability.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Living our values, being inclusive, and following store policies.
* Occasionally, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
