Are you a Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high-end residential construction and an eye for detail that sets you apart?
This is a standout opportunity to join a £15m+ super-prime residential project in Kent, where craftsmanship, heritage, and modern luxury combine. You’ll be working with a contractor recognised across the South of England for their exceptional work on private estates, listed properties, and bespoke new builds.
You’ll play a key role in the commercial management of this landmark scheme, balancing quality, precision, and profitability while developing your career on some of the region’s most admired homes.
The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day commercial activity, supporting the project from procurement through to final account. You’ll be trusted to ensure financial accuracy, deliver value, and maintain positive relationships across all project stakeholders.
You will:
* Manage procurement and cost control of specialist subcontractor packages.
* Track and value project variations, ensuring accurate client reporting and documentation.
* Prepare valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts to maintain commercial transparency.
* Assess and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts.
* Collaborate with design teams, architects, and clients to ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
* Provide clear financial insights that inform key project decisions.
About You:
You’ll bring:
* Experience working on prime or heritage residential projects, ideally £5m+.
* Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost reporting.
* Confidence in managing multiple packages, variations, and client relationships.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and cost management software.
* A proactive, professional, and team-focused approach with a desire to grow and develop.
