Head of Data – Permanent, Poole, Dorset
Salary – Circa £65k plus benefits
(MUST live within commutable distance, as this role will be primarily onsite, with some capacity to work from home)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead a data team through a transformative journey, positioning data as a central pillar of the business strategy. This role will oversee a diverse team of specialists including Data Quality Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Science Engineers, and Business Intelligence professionals, while championing a mantra of "Powered by technology, underpinned by people."
Key Responsibilities of the role:
1. Guide and coach data teams on data analytics, vision and best practices.
2. Lead data-driven innovation, including ingestion, extraction and presentation.
3. Connect data initiatives directly to business outcomes and KPIs.
4. Drive forward data products and services with internal and external customers.
5. Serve as the guarantor of data security quality, ensuring consistency and reliability across business areas.
6. Guide teams in transforming data into actionable business insights, driving strategy and decision making.
