Job Description – Cleaner/Housekeeper

We are currently looking for domestic cleaners to maintain cleanliness and organisation in our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that areas are clean, orderly and presentable to the highest standards, both internally and externally of the property. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and maintain assigned areas, including living spaces, kitchen, bathrooms & hallways
· Sweep, mop and vacuum floors, dust surfaces and wipe down furniture and fixings
· Change bed linen, replace towels and ensure all rooms are restocked with essential supplies (e.g. toilet paper, soap)
. Wash and iron dirty bedding at home. additional payment will be made
· Clean mirrors and other glass surfaces
· Ensure window seals, skirting boards, chairs, tables and worktops are all cleaned
· Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in appropriate waste bins
· Ensure TV's are in working order, remotes are available and working
· Report and maintenance or repair issues, replace light bulbs, clean carpets, etc.
· Adhere to all safety and cleaning standards, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
· Deep cleans of properties when required including oven cleaning, fridges, freezers, cupboards, windows, etc)
· Assist when needed with laundry and ironing and office cleaning
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
· Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment
· Ability to work independently
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
· Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods
· Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
· Trustworthy and reliable
Working hours will be varied but our busiest days are Monday to Friday. You will need to be flexible on your availability and willing to assist as short notice and cover a variety of locations.
Full clean driving licence and own transport is essential. Full training will be provided
Hourly rate starting at £12.21 but is negotiable depending on experience. Mileage and travel time will also be paid. This post is self employed.
