We have an exciting new role become available for a Prosecutions Administration Assistant to work for Lincolnshire Police at their headquarters in Lincoln. This is a temporary ongoing position working 08:00-16:00 Mon - Thurs & 08:00- 15:30 Fri. JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: To provide a high-quality administrative service to internal and external partners, including police officers, the Crown Prosecution Services (CPS) and the His Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS). Act as a point of contact and support for police officers with case file preparation and progression. The post holder will be required to carry out the administration, preparation, and processing of prosecution files in accordance with criminal justice policy; to ensure the progression of cases through the court process by means of timely and accurate case preparation. Demonstrate the force values at all times. All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.
