Senior Interaction Designer
As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will play a critical role in delivering user-centered designs that meet the needs of our clients and their users. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design accessible, understandable, and standards-compliant solutions aligned with the Government Digital Service (GDS) standards. Your work will span various projects within the UK Government, requiring a strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Hybrid working
The work location varies based on role, needs, and business requirements, combining Company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that 100% remote work is not available.

Your role
We co-create transformational services that often involve complex and unclear landscapes, requiring individuals who can make sense of minimal frameworks or directions.
You will design and present concepts and user interfaces, including annotations for best practices in information architecture, navigation, and user flows.
Use various techniques to understand users and their needs, translating user stories into evidence-based, user-focused design approaches.
Design accessible and impactful products and services.
Employ skills such as user interviews, detailed planning, data analysis, workshop facilitation, and research presentation.
Visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems, making disciplined decisions based on research and available information.
Apply technical knowledge to create or design interactive prototypes for products and services.
Resolve design disputes across different levels of complexity and risk, working in an agile, iterative environment.
Communicate effectively across organizational and technical boundaries.
Identify opportunities to create business value and improve user experience, contributing to the wider XD community.

Security clearance
Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance is required. Applicants must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 5 years and meet other criteria. Questions regarding nationality and residence will be part of the process. Some roles may require UK nationality only due to security restrictions.
