About the role An Executive Assistant post is available in the Centre for 21st Century Public Health at the University of Bath supporting the high-profile research projects Local Health and Global Profits (LHGP) and the Tobacco Research Control Group (TCRG). The role will be based within the Centre for 21st Century Public Health (C21PH) at the University of Bath. C21PH is a globally leading, multidisciplinary research centre that delivers policy-relevant research to address the structural, commercial and environmental drivers of ill health and inequity. Its work spans population-level, cost-effective interventions at local, national and international levels, including flagship initiatives such as LHGP, which supports local government action on upstream and commercial determinants of health, and TCRG, an award-winning group whose research on the tobacco industry has shaped policy worldwide. As the Executive Assistant, you will work with academics, researchers and professional colleagues to provide: Executive support : Diary and travel management, meeting preparation, correspondence, and presentation support for C21PH senior leadership. Project administration : Enquiry handling, governance support and meeting coordination across C21PH, LHGP and TCRG. Finance and procurement Support monitoring budgets, expense claims and initiating procurement via Agresso. Communications support : Maintain presentations, web and digital content, branding, and staff/project profiles for C21PH. Office operations : Manage meeting logistics, liaise with facilities, IT and estates to allow office maintenance, coordinate visitor hospitality, oversee security access and order office supplies. Travel in the UK to research meetings will be required. The role is based on the Bath campus but hybrid working is available with a minimum of 3 days on campus per week. About you You'll be a confident and efficient Executive Assistant or Administrator. Ideally you will have experience of working in complex environment with multiple stakeholder groups. We'd like to hire an accurate and confident communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
