Shoezone has an opportunity for a Store Manager to join our team based in Gainsborough. You will join us on a Full Time, Permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About Us

We are a retail footwear retailer located in town centres, retail parks, and online, offering affordable, high-quality footwear for the whole family, with free next-day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 280 stores and have approximately 2,200 employees across the UK.

Our store portfolio includes 91 town centre stores stocking our core product range, 144 hybrid town centre stores, and 43 larger retail park stores that also carry brands like Skechers, Hush Puppies, and Kickers.

Our online platform, shoezone.com, stocks exclusive footwear, complemented by our store network and marketplaces, providing a comprehensive multi-channel customer experience. Annually, we sell around 14.5 million pairs of shoes at an average retail price of £13.


The Store Manager Role

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of your store. You should be a hands-on leader who motivates from the front, especially in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Your focus will be on maximising sales through local knowledge, exceeding targets, controlling costs, delivering excellent customer service, and inspiring your team.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Achieve sales targets through effective merchandising and customer service.
* Support, develop, and mentor your team to ensure high store standards and excellent customer experiences.
* Maintain store standards and merchandising according to marketing guidelines and ensure high standards of housekeeping.
* Ensure a safe environment by implementing health and safety policies.
