New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across primary schools throughout Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and making a positive impact in different school settings.
We work closely with a wide range of welcoming and inclusive schools across the city, supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds, including a high proportion of Pupil Premium learners.
The Role:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, following school planning or your own where required.
2. Maintain a positive and safe learning environment that promotes good behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
3. Adapt quickly to different school settings, routines, and expectations.
4. Support pupils’ academic progress while encouraging confidence, independence, and positive attitudes to learning.
5. Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each placement.

The Ideal Candidate:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
10. Experience teaching in UK primary schools is desirable.
11. Flexible, reliable, and confident managing different classroom environments.
12. Strong behaviour management and a child-centred approach to learning.
13. Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide employment references covering the last 5 years
