£16.48-£34.96 per hour
Job Description:
Our client is one of the largest delivery companies, specialising in B2B and B2C orders for many of the UKs leading retailers. As an Class 1 Driver, youll be responsible for depot-to-depot (trunking) deliveries, playing a key role in helping our client deliver over million parcels annually.
With a various start times AM, PM and Nights, youll be responsible for ensuring timely and secure deliveries throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities for a HGV class 1 Driver:
1. Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle.
2. Perform deliveries to multiple destinations.
3. Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards.
4. Maintain accurate delivery records.
As a HGV class 1 Driver we will require:
5. Valid Class 1 (C+E) license.
6. 1 year experience
7. Strong punctuality and reliability.
8. Knowledge of health and safety practices in transportation.
