Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Operative within their maintenance and assets team.
The work you undertake will include supporting, and assisting, with the management of their operatives as they go about any reactive repairs or planned property maintenance of their portfolio.
The successful applicate must have some limited knowledge of the building trade, be comfortable with back-office administration and yard work (fork-lift/towing). However, site knowledge, Stores and back-office would be ideal.
Duties include:
1. Provide support for the back office administrative team in allocating work to operatives and purchasing stock
2. Ensure compliance and corporate management responsibilities are meet
3. Work with other team members to organise and manage planned property maintenance
4. Access and accurately update all relevant information systems across the back office
5. To ensure that the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used for each task
6. To have a flexible approach to all tasks, to allow us to meet the demands of emergency tasks that continually change our works patterns
Experience required:
7. Working within the building/property industry.
8. Use of power and hand tools.
9. Correct use of industry PPE.
10. Experience of basic carpentry, plastering, tiling, and small building works related to property maintenance would be an advantage.
Pay Rate:
11. £12.50ph
Hours & Days of Work:
12. Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
