Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to join the team. The successful candidate will operate in a general warehousing and supply chain capacity supporting Archer Well Services. This is a broad, warehouse-based role with an interesting and dynamic coordination/logistics/procurement element to it, also. It will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join a growing and well preforming team with a view to grow into a logistics role. You will be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties/Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS). Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies. Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as required. Logistics coordination. Focal point for internal stakeholders. Efficient coordination of warehouse operations relating to shipments and workshop builds to meet stakeholder and customer requirements. Warehouse and Logistics Specialist Plan and coordinate the movement of goods to and from the warehouse. Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers and couriers. Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or issues. Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and labels. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding logistics requirements. General Analyse logistics performance and identify areas for improvement. Support procurement and inventory planning functions. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper job documentation is updated and compliant with Archer Well Services best-practice documentation. Work closely with the QA/QC department to ensure supplied materials are compliant with Archer standards. Daily update of ERP System & other relevant Operation Systems. Help to ensure quarterly & yearly inventory counting is executed. Timely PO receipts, picking of parts for assembly and shipping. Close liaisons with the Finance team, invoicing and month-end reporting. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred but not essential. Several years of experience in warehouse role is essential. Experience in handling both international and domestic logistics is preferred. Someone with a proactive attitude who can work under their own initiative Knowledge of inventory management software and logistics platforms. Good understanding of warehouse principles. Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Good ERP system knowledge preferred Good knowledge of technical drawings, procedures and other technical documentation preferred. Knowledge of laws and regulations for domestic and international shipment of parts and equipment preferred. Knowledge and use of INCOTERMS and HS codes preferred. Forklift certification essential. Right to work in the UK is essential.
