The Home manager, Laxmi, has a clinical background and healthcare experience and has been with Bupa for over 3 years. We also have a number of long-standing staff with 20+ years of service.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
* Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records with your team.
* Ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
* Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
* Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
* Developing strong relationships with local partners and liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Valid UK NMC pin, committed to NMC Codes of Conduct & professional development.
* Understanding of quality nursing care's impact on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
* Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
* Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to work efficiently as a compassionate team player.
