Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clerical Officer / Administrator to join our dynamic administrative team. This role plays a key part in supporting our clinical services in a fast‑paced, compassionate palliative care environment at Aintree Hospital and Woodlands Hospice.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
* Coordinate outpatient clinics, including booking, confirmation and scheduling of appointments.
* Assist the Woodlands Inpatient Unit with admissions and discharges.
* Coordinate incoming calls to Liverpool IMPaCT services, ensuring quick and effective access to appropriate clinical teams.
* Maintain confidentiality, work independently and as part of a team.
* Ensure compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and complete DBS checks as required.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area.
* Previous NHS clerical experience.
* Knowledge of NHS systems (iPM, ICE, Choose & Book).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Current employee of a local authority award‑winning specialist service (LAASP) organisation (preferred).

* Bank posts require upfront DBS payment; the standard disclosure fee of £26.50 will be deducted from salary.
