WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You will directly support our people through their Kainos career and confirm for them that working for Kainos is the best decision they have ever made, to you, that is not work – that is impact.
You will be delivering a step change in the Kainos employee experience. You will do this by guiding our people through the employee lifecycle. And this will be achieved by working in partnership with the recruitment, HR business partners, payroll, and communications teams to build a seamless service for Kainos employees.
We’ll need you to bring your ‘A’ game, accuracy, creativity, flexibility, communications, and stakeholder management experience that will help nurture a healthy workplace for Kainos employees at all levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver a brilliant employee experience. Handle day-to-day administration of general employee queries via employee ticketing system.
* Act as custodian of employee data. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data and assist with preparing reports and contract documents for HR-related activities.
* Deliver support to employees and managers with their employee lifecycle.
* Ensure Kainos is operationally compliant in the countries we operate by interpreting, implementing, and managing employment policies and processes.
* Collaborate on transformation projects to improve and represent Kainos’ best self in the workplace.
* Provide valuable insights, help identify trends, and contribute to accurate reporting for informed decision-making.
* Support the smooth running of the People Operations team by actively participating in team activities.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL SKILLS) REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 1-year experience in an HR working environment with an approachable, mature, collaborative style in a customer-facing environment.
* Working towards an HR qualification e.g., CIPD.
* Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, and processes.
* Effective personal time management and planning skills to deliver high accuracy and attention to detail within tight timeframes.
* Ability to work efficiently, make sensible decisions under pressure, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Trustworthiness to handle confidential information impartially.
* A self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with Office 365 Suite or equivalent.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to identify and communicate areas for improvement.
* Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Workday.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
