Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Support and empower foster carers and young people across Cornwall and Plymouth.
* Ensure foster carers provide a safe, nurturing environment for children.
* Conduct regular supervision and maintain compliance with FCA's operational standards.
* Work collaboratively to identify and meet the needs of foster families.
* Promote the participation of children and young people in agency development.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Occasionally conduct initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you must have:
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Strong report writing skills.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* The willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
* A full driving licence.

Salary: £31,151.65 per annum

Car Allowance: £2,000

Annual Leave: 30 days, increasing to 35 with length of service, plus Bank Holidays
