We are seeking passionate General Practitioners (GPs) to join our multidisciplinary team at the Co-Located Service within St James Hospital.
The successful candidate will be a clinician capable of thriving in urgent and emergency care settings, making a significant difference for a population in high need. The GP will work across our Urgent Care Services in Leeds, providing professional and clinical care to ensure the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of services to all patients at St James Hospital, as part of a team of autonomous practitioners. Responsibilities include all duties expected of a primary care GP, adhering to GMC and RCGP standards, and following relevant national and local guidelines. This role involves varied clinical management of different patient groups.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 29 hours per week over 2.5 days. The available shifts are Tuesday from 4pm to 10pm, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 10pm. The full-time equivalent is 40 hours per week.
About Primary Care Co-located Services
Our Co-Located Service is based at St James University Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. The site operates on 12-hour shifts daily, from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Current GMC registration and NHS performers list (with no restrictions)
* At least 1 year of post-qualification experience
* An MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of clinical governance
