We are looking for a kind and proactive individual to join as an Early Years Teaching Assistant.This is an incredibly rewarding role helping children to develop their education from the very beginning. You will play a vital role in supporting the teacher by helping to set up and maintain learning areas, deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and manage the behaviour and engagement of children. Your role will also include working with children in smaller groups who may need extra support, fostering positive relationships and providing reassurance to young children. Responsibilities: Assessing student performance regularly and using this provide feedback to pupils, other members of staff and parents to create targets for improvement. Create a positive learning environment that is in line with the school's values of kindness, hard work and taking responsibility for our actions and decisions. Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching practices Work in collaboration with parents and other members of staff to support diverse learning. Be alert to child protection concerns and follow safeguarding procedures to best support students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being. Requirements: Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree or PGCE Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues effectively.
