Territory Sales Manager (THV) – Edwards Lifesciences

The Edwards Transcatheter Aortic Heart Valves unit (THV) offers the SAPIEN family of transcatheter aortic and pulmonic heart valves, widely prescribed around the world. We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our successful South West / South Wales team. This field‑based role involves regular travel and covers hospital accounts in the region from a centrally located base (e.g., Bristol, Cardiff, Somerset).


Responsibilities

* Main point of contact for assigned customer base, leveraging full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology related to Edwards products.
* Build and manage strong, long‑lastingly relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers to promote Edwards positioning in the market.
* Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers, identify improvement areas to meet sales targets and execute an annual plan to achieve regional objectives.


Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Strong track record of progressive sales experience with demonstrable commercial achievements.
* Experience in the medical devices industry (required).
* Full driving licence (essential).


Preferences

* Experience with cardiology medical device products in a commercial setting.
* Previous exposure to cath lab or surgical settings.
* Familiarity with the geography and relationships with hospitals in the area.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Attention to detail and strong customer‑needs understanding.
* Creativity and influencing skills to guide buying decisions.
* Regular field travel; some international travel may be required.
