Role Overview
We are looking for a domiciliary optometrist to deliver eye care directly into patients’ homes across South West Wales through the Gwent Home Visits business.
As a domiciliary optometrist you will:
* Drive our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to individuals who cannot visit our stores.
* Support patients to complete basic tasks and achieve independence.
* Bring smiles and clinical care to the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide eye examinations and treatments in patients’ homes.
* Deliver patient education and advice for eye health.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Use equipment efficiently and manage vehicle safety.
Qualifications & Personal Requirements
* Registered member of the General Optical Council.
* Full driving licence.
* Strong customer service orientation and confidence in working independently and within a team.
