Assigned machines may be wire brush machinery and similar equipment. Quality Control: Produce products to company and customer specifications, conducting first-off quality checks, in line quality checks and maintaining high-quality standards. Training: Provide training to team members where appropriate and be open to receiving training as required. Work Time Management: Accurately record work times and maintain activity logs. Machine Operation: Set up machines for production, adjust machine settings, feed raw materials, inspect parts with precision tools, test machine operations, and address issues that may arise during the shift. Quality Inspection: Inspect output to identify and rectify machine-related issues or flaws, keeping records of approved and defective units. Scope of Work: Operate various machine and assembly equipment on the shop floor to produce products accurately, correctly, and safely. Ensure the highest level of customer service by performing duties to the best of your ability. Work in the best interests of the company and its employees. Experience and Requirements: Previous Experience- as a machine operator on production with light metal or aluminum product is advantageous. Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of diverse computer controlled machinery and proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Production Procedures: Understanding of production assembly procedures and ability to read drawings, production and quality instructions Safety: Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring that every product meets the required quality standards for all industries from agriculture to aerospace and automotive Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues with machinery and rectify them promptly, ensuring continuous production flow Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues, providing assistance when necessary, and contributing positively to the team's dynamics. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new machinery, technology, and production methods, staying updated with industry trends.
