Level 3 Teaching Assistant – L22 Area
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long‑term
Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the L22 area on a long‑term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide general classroom support in a Reception class, assisting with day‑to‑day learning activities and delivering engaging phonics and reading sessions. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team who are passionate about creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils
* Support the learning and development of Reception pupils through structured play, group work, and guided reading
* Assist with the delivery of phonics and early reading activities
* Encourage inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroom
* Support lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessment activities
Essential Requirements:
* Recent and relevant experience working in an educational or childcare setting
* A Level 3 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification – CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent
* A passion for supporting early years learning, particularly literacy and phonics
* Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team
