Job Summary
Provide comprehensive day‑to‑day administrative support to the service, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with service standards. Work independently using own initiative to prioritise workloads, liaise effectively with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders, and maintain strict confidentiality of client information. Collaborate with administrative colleagues and provide cover as required across multiple locations within the Directorate to support continuity and smooth running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support, including processing all reports, correspondence and documentation, arranging appointments and booking rooms.
* Provide cover in absence of the Team Administrator: attend MDT team meetings, prepare agenda, take minutes and undertake any admin actions arising from the meeting.
* Take and relay clear messages accurately and in a timely manner.
* Ensure all administrative systems are managed electronically where possible.
Person Specification
Essential
* Competent typing skills
* Flexibility to work
* Educated to GCSE standard in English
* Good standard of written and spoken English
Desirable
* RIO experience
* Previous NHS experience
* NVQ Level 3 or above
