The Role -To undertake public health complaint work within divisional policies and programmes and to meet statutory responsibilities.
To undertake specific responsibilities with regards to Statutory nuisance and anti-social behaviour.
Contract
* Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
* PAYE via Umbrella
* Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
* It's paying 35.41ph
Principal Accountabilities
* Under take Statutory Nuisance complaint activity and Licensing Responsible Authority work.
* To specifically carry out public health complaint investigations and take enforcement action where necessary in accordance with relevant legislation.
* Provide advice to members of the public and business to assist in compliance with legislation.
* Provide specialist technical support within the Division and to other Council departments as required.
Requirements
* Experience of working with the relevant legislation and/or in a related area.
* Experience of working within a local authority would be an advantage.
* Experience of computer systems, including databases, spreadsheets and GIS.
* Experience of air quality modelling an advantage
