Job Title: Accounts and Audit Assistant
Location: Stockport
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Service care are working with a warm and welcoming Accountancy firm of 12 who are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts and Audit Assistant to join the team. If you have practice experience and knowledge of audit this could be the perfect role for you.
What you will be doing:
Assisting with year end accounts preparation
Processing self- assessments and tax returns
Assisting with the Audit for charities
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Liaising with clients over the phone and via email
Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc duties as and when requiredSkills and Qualifications
At least 2 years experience within an accountancy practice
Experience of accounts preparation
Ideally part ACA/ACCA qualified but will consider QBE
Exceptional attention to detail
Enthusiastic and eager to learnIn return you will receive
Base salary of up to £30,000 DOE
20 days holidays + Christmas Shutdown and Bank holidays
1 day a week working from home (after probation)
Death in Service 3x Annual Salary
