THE ROLE – PROJECT ASSISTANT Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator / Project Assistant to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The role involves providing administrative and coordination support to project managers and teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time, documentation is maintained, and communication flows effectively. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT ASSISTANT ROLE: Provide day-to-day Administrative support to project managers and project teams Coordinate project paperwork/ inspection plans adapting for each project. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and administration records Track project progress and update relevant stakeholders on timelines and milestones Assist in budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reporting Implement new processes to make efficiencies where possible. Organise and document meetings, including taking minutes and following up on action items Maintain project files, databases, and document control systems Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external suppliers Support risk management and issue tracking processes Ensure compliance with company procedures and project governance standards KEY SKILLS Proven experience in an Project Support/Administrator role Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively High attention to detail and accuracy Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) is desirable Ability to work both independently and as part of a team QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Educated to A-level or equivalent (degree desirable but not essential) Relevant certifications in administration or project management (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation) are advantageous Proactive and self-motivated and able to work within a team environment Strong problem-solving skills Professional and adaptable approach Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines WHAT THE COMPANY CAN OFFER: Company Pension Competitive salary – £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.
