Legal Cashier

Orpington (BR6) – Hybrid work
We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join a busy accounts team within a well-established law firm in Orpington. This role will support the Financial Controller and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or a similar role, with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You will be confident working as part of a team and communicating effectively both in writing and in person.
Responsibilities include operating online banking, processing client and office transactions, managing invoices, handling expenses, closing files, preparing reconciliations, and reviewing client balances. The role is initially office-based, with potential for hybrid working once training and probation are successfully completed. Salary is up to £29,000, depending on experience.
