Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy Degree
2. HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
3. Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists
Experience
Essential criteria
4. Relevant experience within the NHS
5. Band 5 Occupational Therapy experience covering the following core areas: Older adults Neurology Hand/Orthopaedics Acute
6. NHS Experience in an acute physical setting
Desirable criteria
7. Involvement in audit
Technical skills
Essential criteria
8. Ability to teach patients, relatives, carers & staff.
9. How to critique research articles
10. Demonstrate excellent verbal and nonverbal communication with an ability to establish a good rapport with a range of people.
11. To be able to delegate appropriately.
12. Ability to teach & supervise Junior staff & assistants .
13. Good time management.
14. IT Skills within word processing.
15. Ability to prioritise clinical workload.
Other requirements

16. Ability to drive, hold a clean drivers licence
17. Ability to speak English as necessary to undertake the role
