About the role:
We are seeking to recruit a Research Associate to support a qualitative research project investigating how diversity management programmes, particularly employee resource groups (ERGs), enhance the workplace voice of underrepresented employees, how these efforts are experienced and perceived within organisations, and how digitalisation is shaping these processes. The Research Associate will support the qualitative data collection, management and analysis. They will also contribute to the dissemination of the research findings to policy/practitioner and academic audiences.
Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Duties:
* Undertake qualitative interviews
* Process and manage interview data
* Code and analyse qualitative interviews
* Maintain accurate and complete records of all research data
* Perform systematic literature reviews
* Contribute to the writing of policy briefs, project reports and co-authored journal articles
* Contribute to dissemination through conference presentations
* Facilitate collaborative research workshops and knowledge exchange events

As this role involves research at a postgraduate level, applicants who are not an EEA national or a national of an exempt country and who will require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the UK Visas and Immigration’s (UKVI) Points Based System in order to take up the role, will be required to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) Certificate and will need to obtain this prior to making any official visa application UKVI.
