The role of our Senior Finance Analyst can be based remotely within the UK, ideally with the option to visit one of our Sherwin-Williams offices (Bolton, Sheffield or Witney) when needed and for Hybrid working. The role requires travel within EMEAI.
1. Support BU PF&A team to assist consolidation (and plugs) on monthly forecast/flash & commentary.
2. Finance/Commercial support to BU through Slide Deck preparation & other Adhoc analysis.
3. Completion of relevant BU team Incentive plan/results & co-ordination with Comp & Benefits team.
4. Agreement/accountability of forecast/actual accuracy and commentary.
5. Delivery of rolling forecast and budget (of Group spend – Marketing/R&D)
6. Loading of Forecasts to One-Stream.
7. Standardization and delivery of Territory Performance reporting.
8. Support People Planning (through Group/Marketing/R&D employees) and ensure that process results in accurate Budget/Actual reporting
9. Delivery of the budget/Operating Plan (including People Planning) to leverage accurate Business Incentives/Compensation.
10. Support to BU FD on (consolidation of) monthly close call/business call commentaries.
11. Excellent One-stream, MSTR, excel proficiencies.
12. Bachelors degree (BAcc, BAE, BFin, BEcon)
13. Must possess 5+ years of finance/accounting experience in international companies and manufacturing environment.
14. Must have strong command of English, written and spoken, can participate or lead meetings in English.
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Can communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
17. Ability to work constructively at all organizational levels, from plant operators to senior executives.
18. Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadline and performance goals.
Preferred:
19. CIMA or ACCA or Masters degree
20. Advantage to have 5+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP accounting
21. Prior management experience
22. Prior experience working in a global business environment
