Job Description
BIM Manager – Help Shape the Digital Future of UK Nuclear Infrastructure
West Cumbria | Major Nuclear Framework | £Multi-Billion Programme
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance
Ready to take the lead on one of the UK’s most complex and high-security infrastructure programmes?
We’re partnering with a major civil infrastructure organisation delivering a multi-billion-pound nuclear framework in West Cumbria — and they’re looking for an experienced BIM Manager to define and drive digital excellence across the entire project lifecycle.
If you’re passionate about digital engineering, thrive in multidisciplinary environments, and know how to get the best from teams, this is a rare opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the project’s BIM lead, you’ll be the driving force behind digital delivery:
Developing and owning the project BIM strategy and documentation
Managing and administering the Common Data Environment (CDE)
Coordinating digital workflows across design, engineering & construction
Checking, validating, and assuring models and data
Training, guiding, and supporting teams and supply chain partners
Your work will ensure seamless collaboration, consistent standards, and data-driven decisions on a programme of national significance.
Who We’re Looking For
You may currently be a BIM Manager, Digital Engineering Manager, Information Manager, BIM Coordinator, Digital Construction Manager, CDE Manager, or similar.
We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with experience in nuclear, energy, rail, highways, water, or other regulated and complex engineering environments.
You’ll Bring:
A strong track record leading BIM on major infrastructure projects
Expert understanding of BIM standards and digital construction best practice
Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Bentley, or equivalent tools
Clear, confident communication across multidisciplinary technical teams
Leadership qualities — mentoring, influencing, collaborating
Why This Role Matters
This isn’t just another BIM role.
You’ll be shaping how digital delivery happens on one of the UK’s most challenging, cutting-edge infrastructure programmes — ensuring excellence in a secure, highly technical environment.
If you’re ready to step into a role where your digital expertise genuinely drives progress… this is the opportunity.
