Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Prestwich
Location: Prestwich
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: After February half term
Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a well-respected, inclusive primary school in Prestwich to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time role involves delivering focused one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them progress both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver targeted SEN support to pupils in both 1:1 and small-group settings.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.
* Contribute to the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
* Observe, record, and adapt your approach based on individual pupil needs.
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
* Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
