Please let us know if you would like to discuss any reasonable adjustments to the application or hiring process that may better facilitate your participation.Your Role:The Test & Investigation Fitter is a unique role within our Landing Systems MRO business where you'll work across a range of disciplines including: Disassembly, Assembly, Inspection, Fitting, and TestKey responsibilities:Disassemble, inspect, assemble and test complex landing gearsInterpret and apply OEM work scopes to investigation of landing gearRead & interpret component maintenance manuals, drawings, engineering layouts and additions to the original designApplication of Service Bulletins, Service Letters and Airworthiness DirectivesWorking to the production plan and achieving on time deliveryLiaison and interaction with OEM engineering personnel and execution of OEM defined work scopesMinor reworks such as hand salvage, blending damaged material, polishing will be required in conjunction with assessing parts/components for repairWhat You'll BringHave completed an advanced Engineering Apprenticeship (essential)Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructionsHigh level of dexterity with attention for detailAbility to use a variety of hand tools including precision measuring equipmentUnderstanding of electrical circuitsExcellent problem solver with root cause analyses skillsDriven & willing to learn new skillsAn understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5s principlesTPBN1_UKTJ
