The exciting position of Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor has arisen at UStayAparthotels, overseeing the Housekeeping Teams at Self-Service Apartments and Party Pads .
Hours of work range between 9:30am - 6pm.
Weekend work and some mid-week hours.
As Supervisor you will work alongside the Housekeeping Manager & General Manager in assisting the management of a busy housekeeping department and maximizing the performance of the team.
You will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping and linen operation across our 4 units. This includes 40+ unique apartments, and our public areas in Liverpool City Centre.
The role of Housekeeping Supervisor is an excellent opportunity to showcase your guest experience and management skills as a key member of the UStay team.
You will be responsible for assuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the apartments with the aim at all times to exceed expectations and ensure total guest satisfaction.
MAIN DUTIES:
· Team rotas and scheduling.
· Report anything which may be considered a Health & Safety hazard.
· Perform related duties and special projects, which may be assigned by the Management Team.
· Ensure 5* cleaning standards across the units.
· Team management, including trainings and HR tasks.
· To ensure that all the standards are met.
· Follow departmental procedures and comply with Company Policies.
· Assist with guest request or queries.
· Handle and store chemical as per Health & Safety policy.
· Assist in the servicing of public / back of house areas.
The role is a practical and manual job which includes bending, carrying, standing and pushing/pulling equipment.
Flexibility in this role is essential as the hours of work are on a shift basis including weekends, bank holidays and key dates such as Boxing Day and New Years Day.
