Health & Safety (Fire Auditing) Specialist - Coleg Cambria
Location: Deeside (with travel across all campuses)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (2 months - potential extension)

About the Role
* Carry out fire safety audits across all Coleg Cambria campuses
* Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, internal policies, and best practice
* Produce clear, accurate reports and action plans following site audits
* Work closely with managers and site teams to support improvements and corrective actions
* Provide expert advice on fire safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency planning
* Support the wider Health & Safety function as required
* Travel between campuses as part of your weekly schedule
This role is full‑time, working 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:30-16:30).
What We're Looking For
* Recognised Health & Safety qualification
* Fire Safety qualification and/or proven experience in fire auditing
* Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety management
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
