HGV Class 1 Driver

Saltley, Birmingham
Job Description
We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for general haulage duties.
1 – 4 drops per day
Delivery of a variety of different good nationwide, usually palletised and offloaded by clients with FLT's but occasional use of pump truck and pallet trucks required.
Pay Rate - days
£17.00 per hour (holiday accrued)
£19.05 per hour (holiday inclusive)
Pay Rate - nights
£18.00 per hour (holiday accrued)
£20.17 per hour (holiday inclusive)
Hours
Days start between 04:00 - 09:00
Nights start between 16:00 - 20:00
Typically working 10-12 hours per shift
Qualifications
* Valid Category CE Licence (12 months minimum)
* Proven experience as a delivery driver (12 months)
* Strong commercial driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
* Experience operating curtain trailers
* Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules
