SHEQ Manager – Company A
We have a requirement for a SHEQ Manager with our manufacturing client in Lisburn. Company A, a leading manufacturing and installation business, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to drive safety, quality, and environmental excellence across both factory operations and occasional site-based project activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with H&S and environmental legislation.
* Conduct factory and site inspections, audits, and safety tours.
* Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Manage RAMS, risk assessments, method statements, and statutory documentation.
* Oversee NCR management, supplier quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
* Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and SHEQ training.
* Monitor subcontractor compliance and support project teams on site.
* Provide SHEQ reporting and insights to senior leadership.
* Support customer quality documentation including ITPs and MCRs.
* Drive a proactive SHEQ culture through coaching, communication, and visible leadership.
Regular travel to project sites across the UK is required.
Essential Experience
* Proven SHEQ management experience in manufacturing.
* Experience supporting SHEQ compliance.
* Strong understanding of safe systems of work, audits, and incident investigation.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
* Internal auditor qualification (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence.
