Overview

What You’ll Do
* Take full ownership of your store's operations, team, and performance.
* Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
* Be the go-to person for coverage; typically work days but available for any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
* Perform duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
* Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items.
* Recruit, hire, and train new team members with a focus on growth, accountability, and teamwork.
* Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
* Handle banking and cash deposits; must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
* Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
* Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
* Execute company programs and marketing initiatives.
* Be willing to take on additional store needs, including cross-training and managing deli or QSR operations when necessary.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Open availability to cover shifts as needed; willing to work any shift.
* A valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits).
* Retail or food management experience preferred.
* Willingness to lead by example in all store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service.
* Strong communication, integrity, and decisiveness.
* Minimum age: 18+ (AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO); 21+ in all other states. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* In Tennessee, must complete Topshelf Manager Training.
* Exempt store managers are required to work a minimum of 52 hours per week.
