The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
* Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students
* Encourage participation, resilience, and confidence in all learners
* Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching
* Prepare students for GCSE PE (where applicable)
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
* Support extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE
* Is eager to develop their teaching practice as an Early Career Teacher
* Has high expectations for student achievement, participation, and behaviour
* Is enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to promoting physical wellbeing
* Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
